Formed in 2016, Shear Boss learned about the trials and tribulations with many bad experiences out in the field. Being married to a hairstylist for over 30 years, I’ve heard about these issues for a long time. What surprised me most was learning about the misconceptions and lack of information provided to stylists with the operation, design, care and maintenance of their shears. Cosmetology schools only provide enough information so the stylist can pass the state board test but not much more than that. This leaves the stylist to discover what works best for them. Shear Boss helps educate both new and experienced hair professionals with their essential tools and make their professional lives and well being much better!
